Very clean, 112k. I’d love to swap in an Isuzu diesel in this thing, super clean, I looked all around it, interior doesn’t even have much wear at all. It is an auto but with an engine swap I could change that. If I had space I would pick it up but I don’t :( It’s the Bay Area if anyone is interested.

I drove a totally clapped out one with 300,000 miles on once and I loved it! So boxy, open, lots of useful cubby holes and the barn doors are awesome. The one I drove also had the off-road gauges. So 80s cool.

It belonged to an environmental conservationist who  does a lot of field research so he finds himself out in the boonies quite often. This was while I worked as a car salesman and I helped him find a replacement. Ended up with a green, manual, 04 CRV. His name was Brink and I see him around town often in the CRV.

I have a CRV now, for commuting . I am full up on vehicles, I have a sedan, sports and offroad. The only thing open to swap is a DD. This auto V6 gets 17 mpg at best so I can’t, I wish they sold diesels here, I bet they are much better for that, the swap for an Isuzu/GM NPR motor wouldn’t be cheap...
